From tapas and traditional dishes to the most avant-garde cuisine, in Huelva you will find a real paradise for foodies. Crossing the Parque de la Esperanza on your way to the Town Hall, you will come across El Restaurante La Teja, a very popular place known for its homemade food and good service.

Close to the Christopher Columbus Statue you will find the Gran Vía 1 restaurant and Paraíso de Gonzalo, which combine traditional fresh products with innovative dishes.

Vázquez López street, an emblematic area and very popular for its shops, is also an essential point to take into account on your gastronomic route through Huelva. Restaurants such as La Fonda de María Mandao, Portichuelo, Macha, Restaurante Azabache or Tapería Entre Amigos invite you to enjoy a wide variety of delicious tapas and raciones accompanied by the coldest beer or county wines. Further along Avenida de la Ría, places such as El Rey del Barril, SaborAmor La Taberna, Restaurante El Cenachero and La Recalá, as well as Cervecería Bonilla, are a must.

All along the Ría promenade you will find a large number of bars and terraces where you can enjoy an ice cream, a tapa or your favourite drink while enjoying the unique surroundings and the spectacle of the sunset over the Ría de Huelva. Enjoy the most traditional food in restaurants such as Mirador del Odiel or Kiosko Manolín, and the beach atmosphere, original recipes and cocktails of Monajuana.

Near the Punta del Sebo, where the monument to Columbus is located, we recommend that you let yourself be carried away by the flavours and elaborate cuisine of the Puerto Colón Restaurant or the Buen Puerto Restaurant.

On the other side of the estuary, on the way to La Lonja and past the Aqualón shopping centre is La Cantina del Puerto, a place to disconnect and enjoy the gastronomic universe of Huelva and the quality of the local produce.

In the vicinity of the well-known and busy Avenida de Andalucía, walking north along Calle Núñez de Balboa, you can’t miss the best tortilla de patatas in Huelva and, possibly, in the world, as many people call it. You will find it in the Bar Restaurante Juan José. You can also enjoy good home cooking in the bars and restaurants on the Avenida, such as Bar Casa Hermandad, a picturesque and pleasant space, or enjoy the embers of El Faro Terraza Asador.

Continuing along the Avenida de Andalucía towards the city centre, you will reach the area of Pablo Rada, one of the most important promenades in the capital of Huelva, where you can enjoy a typical Huelva gastronomic and culinary experience.

Near the square dedicated to the Litri Dynasty, we recommend you to stop at the Cervecería Marisquería “Er Chiclanero” and enjoy the seafood and mojama. In the same square, adjacent to Jesús de la Pasión street, is the Tabanco Don Pablo, a typical place, a meeting place for the locals, where they can enjoy good tapas and breakfasts.

Leaving the Senator Hotel behind on the way to the centre you will find bars and restaurants such as the Muxo Poke Huelva, which combines Japanese and Hawaiian cuisine, El Tapeíto and the Ziaro Bar, famous for its torilla tapa, ice cream parlours, cafés… On the other side of the street, across the rambla, traditional establishments such as Bodeguita La Ibérica, the Mexican restaurant Rosalia La Xingona, Restaurante Bodeguita Zafiro or Coma Tapas & Punto, offer a wide variety of atmospheres and culinary styles.

Finishing with Pablo Rada, in the Plaza Quintero Báez, the Cervecería El Gallo Negro, which has several establishments located in different areas of the city, offers informal tapas accompanied by a wide variety of beers.
