The A-49 is a comfortable and safe motorway linking Huelva with Seville. You can also reach Huelva if you come from the north, from Extremadura, on the N 435 and from the west from Portugal. Since 2011 there has been a ferry linking Huelva with the Canary Islands, specifically to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

To get to the port of Huelva, specifically to the Outer Port, there is a free passenger transport service between the city’s Bus Station and the Ferry Terminal.
